2/Marion Scharmann zeigt/shows “intrinsic oddity” Hella Berent, Margret Wibmer – publication
HELLA BERENT and MARGRET WIBMER explore relations between bodies, objects and spaces. Openness and a quiet oddity characterise the conceptual-poetic works of both artists, encouraging a reexamination of established culture-dependent conventions and norms. Thus, the two artistic positions juxtaposed in the exhibition “intrinsic oddity’ refer sensually and with ease to current issues such as feminism, (body)identity, and cultural affiliation.
