The exhibitions at Artgummi Gallery link international artists / vol. 1: Margret Wibmer & Kiyomi Yamashita’ at Art Gummi Gallery in Kanazawa, explored the relation between humans and objects through a number of media. On view were photographic works produced at the private home of Mr. and Mrs. Yamasaki and an installation with antique radios, live broadcasting interviews with citizens of Kanazawa about their relation with the medium radio and a live performance with contemporary dancer Kiyomi Yamashita as part of the installations. Exhibition curated by Akane Nakamori.
Producing a solo exhibition from scratch within a tight time frame on location in Japan was a challenging task as well as a rich experience.
