On view at the museum is a documentation of my long-term participative performance ‘Salon d’Amour’, the newly published artist publication by the same name and a selection of photographic and sculptural works, including loans from local art collections. Some of the works are placed within the museum collection, ‘disturbing’ the given narrative.

The exhibition is an initiative of Kunstraum Wattenbach and curator Markus Strieder and was supported by Marktgemeinde Wattens and Land Tirol.

On view will be a documentation of the performance “Salon d’Amour”, which took place from September 30 to October 1, 2023 at Kultur- und Gemeinschaftshaus / Gasthof Neuwirt. In addition a selection of sculptural and photographic works will be on view, including loans from the Raiffeissenbank Kitzbühel Collection and the collection of Zeitkunst Kitzbühel Gallery, as well as masks from my “Salon d’Amour” performance, presented as sculptures.

In addition, the artist publication “Salon d’Amour”, which was published in January in close collaboration with PEACH_Wien, will be presented to the public for the first time in Austria. As part of the exhibition opening, a shorter, intimate version of the performance will be staged in front of an audience.
