In this collectively conceived project, Carmen Brucic, Claudia Fritz, Judith Klemenc, Milena Meller, Christine S. Prantauer, Nora Schöpfer, Maria Vill, Margret Wibmer, and Zita Oberwalder explore the relationships between body and space.
Socially critical as well as poetic, ecological, and philosophical reflections come together in an examination of perception of realities, opening up fixed definitions and limitations.
The concept and organization of the project point to the possibilities of feminist self-empowerment and address the body—especially in the context of VR technologies and AI—as the site from which we perceive the world.
The medium of photography is expanded through installations, painting, and object-based approaches. Through a collaborative process, the project continues to develop both formally and conceptually for each new venue. In 2024, the first version of the project was presented at FOTOFORUM Innsbruck.
