Description

Limited and numbered edition of 300. Newsprint, broadsheet, 40 pages. This artist publication is an artwork in it’s own right, related to Margret Wibmer’s research and long-term art project ‘Salon d’Amour’, a series of performances developed in collaboration with art institutions and curators in various countries.

‘Salon d’Amour’ explores love as a transformative power in the context of a polarised world and invites us to reimagine our relationships with ourselves and with others. The poems, love letters, excerpts from novels and guest contributions by artists and writers included in this publication, take the reader into transient spaces that invite an exploration of love as an antidote to its commodified version.

The publication includes loving contributions by Marianna Maruyama, Mohamedou Ould Slahi and Camila Sposati. These contemporary voices introduce new visions from their different cultural perspectives and personal experiences.

PROCEEDS FROM SALES CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONTINUATION OF MY PRACTICE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT.
